About Us

They say it started with a simple cup of matcha.

Nobody remembers who made it first. Some say it was a wandering brewer who accidentally dropped a handful of matcha into his morning tea. Others insist it was a local herbalist who discovered that green tea pairs remarkably well with things that come in bottles.

What everyone agrees on is what happened next.

Someone added beer.

Someone else brought cider.

Then wine appeared.

By sundown, the entire village was Matcha Me Crazy.

What began as a humble tea stall quickly became the liveliest watering hole around—a place where the kettle is always warm, the taps are always flowing, and nearly everything on the menu has been suspiciously “enhanced” with a little something extra.

Our motto is simple:

Tea for the morning.
Ale for the evening.
And absolutely no questions about the brownies.

Whether you're here for a calming cup of ceremonial matcha, a frothy pint, a glass of wine, a hard cider, or one of our famously infused dishes, there's only one rule:

Leave your worries at the door and let us Matcha Me Crazy.
