Personalized loot

How generated structure containers, chest minecarts, and End Ship Elytras work for each player.

Loot belongs to each explorer

Untouched generated chests, trapped chests, barrels, and chest minecarts provide a separate persistent loot inventory to each player. Taking your items does not remove anyone else's items.

Reopening the same container restores your remaining items instead of rerolling the table. Double-chest loot is presented as one coherent personal inventory.

Extraction-only containers

You may put an item into a personalized loot view to rearrange it, but you cannot use generated loot containers as permanent private storage. Items that originated outside the personal loot must not be removed through that view.

Personalized containers cannot be broken while they still serve generated loot, and hoppers cannot consume unopened shared loot.

End Ship Elytras

The Elytra in an End Ship item frame is also personal. Each player may claim that ship's Elytra once, while the display remains available for the next visitor.

Recovered structure loot

The server restores known generated containers that were left empty by an earlier update. This applies only where the original structure and expected loot container can be identified safely.

A player-placed empty chest is never converted into structure loot merely because it is near a structure.
